MCEA Summer Law Clerk: The Summer Law Clerk will provide research, writing, and litigation support to MCEA’s legal department during the Summer 2026. This is a temporary position for students currently enrolled in an accredited law school. MCEA utilizes a 36-hour workweek with a hybrid work environment. Our main office is in St. Paul, Minnesota. This is an 11-week paid position with flexible starting and ending dates, which pays $8,400 for the summer.

MCEA Environmental Law & Advocacy Fellowship: The Minnesota Center for Environmental Advocacy is accepting applications from candidates interested in a post-graduate public-interest law fellowship that would start in the fall of 2027. MCEA uses law and science to protect Minnesota’s environment, natural resources, and the health of its people. Our staff of in-house lawyers take legal actions that set important precedent and protect the people and environment of Minnesota. We fight against polluters, short-sighted policies, environmental injustices, and dirty politics.
