Andra Bontrager, GIS Specialist
Andra joined MCEA in 2016 as the GIS Specialist to provide support services for legal, policy, and scientific staff. Originally from Saint Paul, she earned her B.S. in Earth Sciences, Physical Geography option with an emphasis in Biogeography, from Montana State University in 2004.
Andra has over 10 years of conservation GIS experience from working with the North America Program of the Wildlife Conservation Society as the GIS Projects Leader. She has earned her certification as a Geographic Information Systems Professional (GISP) and is working toward her M.S. Degree in Cartography and GIS Development through the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
Andra is a member of the Minnesota Geospatial Advisory Council where she participates with the Geographic Data Standards Committee.
