MCEA's Annual Women's Breakfast

Featuring Margaret Anderson Kelliher, President and CEO of the Minnesota High Tech Association. Margaret will be presenting, "Moving Forward Together:  Technology, Innovation and the Environment."

Why:  To provide an educational opportunity for women to learn about key environmental issues and the role the Minnesota Center for Environmental Advocacy plays in environmental protection. MCEA's effective and credible leadership is essential in creating workable solutions and in taking direct action to hold lawmakers, regulators, and polluters accountable. Since its founding in 1974, MCEA has been at the forefront of virtually every major environmental success story in Minnesota.

All women are welcome to attend, but we especially encourage young professional women who are just beginning their careers to join us.   

About the Speaker:  Our speaker this year is Margaret Anderson Kelliher, president of the Minnesota High Tech Association and former speaker of the Minnesota House of Representatives.

At the Minnesota High Tech Association, Margaret leads the charge to further Minnesota’s prosperity through innovation and technology. As head of the leading technology association that spans multiple technology sectors, including energy and the environment, Margaret brings people and organizations together working towards a common purpose. Hear from Margaret on what MHTA is doing to drive innovation and how new technologies, research and environmental organizations are part of the future solutions.
