In the courtroom, at the state Capitol, and with regulatory agencies, the Minnesota Center for Environmental Advocacy advances smart environmental policy and ensures existing laws are enforced.

We protect the land—Minnesota’s forests, prairies, wetlands, and wildlife —and advocate thoughtful development and expanded transit. We work tirelessly to protect our most pristine lakes and rivers and to monitor and clean up polluted water bodies. We use science to move precautionary health policy forward to protect people from dangerous pollutants in the air, water, and soil. And we stand steadfastly on the front lines of the battle against climate change, working to stop new global warming pollution, reduce current emissions and encourage the switch to renewable and efficient energy.
