"I've always held a deep appreciation—and a sense of awe—for the natural world. One of the things I love most about living in Minnesota is the rhythm of the seasons. Each season brings its own sense of magic and a chance for new adventures—downhill skiing in Lutsen, biking or walking around the lakes in Minneapolis, swimming and kayaking on the St. Croix River, summer visits to the St. Paul farmers market, hiking the trails at William O’Brien State Park, or simply enjoying an early morning coffee on the patio while listening to birds. Minnesota offers an abundance of ways to connect with nature, and being a native Minnesotan has taught me that each season is an invitation—to pause, reflect, and appreciate the beauty of the place we call home.
But that beauty—and our access to it—is not guaranteed. Everyone should be able to breathe clean air, drink safe water, and experience all the natural wonder Minnesota has to offer. That’s where MCEA comes in.
I am honored to be an employee of MCEA. As a firm believer in the power of collective impact, I know that now is the time to invest in systems-changing work. Together, let’s shape a better future for our state and generations to come!”
