Join MCEA and the University of Minnesota Duluth for Guided Nature Walk

Join MCEA and the University of Minnesota Duluth on Tuesday, September 27 at 5:30pm for a nature walk through the Bagley Nature Area on the northwest side of campus. This free, family-friendly event will be led by forestry expert and UMD researcher, Dr. Jessica Savage.

We’ll go for about an hour-long educational walk through the forest, then enjoy some s’mores around the campfire afterwards. This hike will be a great opportunity to learn a bit about the local ecosystem and enjoy a social walk through the woods as the leaves change to their fall colors. The trails are wood-chipped and pretty flat. Please reach out directly about any accessibility concerns.

We’ll begin near the Bagley Nature Area trailhead at 5:30pm. Folks can park in Lot T-2 or T-4 for closest access. All green, white, maroon lots and parking meters are free to park in after 5pm.
