In 1990, Minnesota voters dedicated a portion of profits from the Minnesota Lottery to create an Environment and Natural Resources Trust Fund (ENRTF.) But in the early 2000’s MCEA published a report that made it clear that not enough of the funds were going to protect our environment. 

This year the ENTRF is on the ballot again. It would renew the fund through 2050. See more of our work protecting dedicated funding for our environment.
