Environmental protections. Gender justice. Immigration. State laws. All of these areas rely on the rule of law to safeguard our rights. As we’ve seen our laws eroded at the national level, it’s fair to have questions and concerns about the limits of their power and protection.
But remember, we’ve also seen judges, the Minnesota Attorney General’s Office, and civil society wield the rule of law in powerful and critical ways that show how important it is at this pivotal moment for our democracy. We’re seeing state laws do heavy lifting to protect Minnesota’s environment and health of our people.
That’s why we’re excited to bring together legal experts across issue areas that are dedicated to using the courts to protect the public for our latest webinar. They’ll break down what’s happening, unpack ways that the rule of law is at risk, discuss how key it really is, and share what you can do to help protect it.
